An Ocelot. Drawn withe colored pencils. The background was done with pastells... Took me over 6 days to draw and color, but I´m not happy with it, ´cause the scanner really messed it up. In original the colors are more bright than here.
Anyway, I don´t like my drawings. I´m kinda depressed and all my pictures suck and I don´t know why. I can´t get happy anymore and so I couldn´t draw. And I´m not feeling better even more worse... Hope I can draw better pictures soon... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. in german: das bild gefällt dir wahrscheinlich deshalb nicht besonders, weil das fell nicht wirklich nach fell aussieht. es ist zu "flächig". um es nach fell aussehen zu lassen muss man viele, viele (kurze) striche zeichnen bzw. malen. es ist eine menge arbeit, aber der effekt ist es wert!
schau dir zum beispiel einmal dieses fell an: link oder dieses link oder jenes link. more furs in dA under 'traditional art' - 'drawings' or 'paintings' - 'animal'.

check settings with the program that youre using, sometimes they save weirdly and dont transfer the colours properly. though if its an accident with your scanner maybe you need a new one
